Registered Psychologists who are endorsed by medicare can provide psychological treatment to clients referred by their GP. Some of these services are eligible for a medicare rebate. Jayne Hogan is approved to provide these services.

If you are planning on attending under medicare please make a double appointment with your GP to discuss referral and check with the GP that the referral wiill qualify for a medicare rebate.
Please bring the referral information and your medicare card with you to the first session.
Clients are entitled to access 12 sessions a year, and in some circumstances up to 18 sessions a year. An assessment by the doctor is required after each six sessions and a brief report is sent to your referring Dr after six sessions. *Please note that it is up to the Dr’s discretion as to whether they choose to make a medicare referral, or even continue to provide ongoing referrals regardless of the psychologists assessment, or recommendation of the need for ongoing treatment.*
